sunday’s recipe: adding to my essential oil tool kit

good day! i had to take a brief hiatus from building my essential oil tool kit to share that banana cream pie recipe last week because it’s just so delicious. but now, we’re back in business.

this week i am sharing a recipe for an all-purpose cleaner using three simple ingredients: vinegar, water and essential oils!

sunday’s recipe
all purpose cleaner

2 cups water
2 tablespoons vinegar
3-5 drops tea tree essential oil
3-5 drops lavender essential oil
3-5 drops lemon essential oil

i like to mix all the ingredients straight into an amber glass bottle with a spray bottle attachment (super solid top). tea tree essential oil is the master of the natural cleaning supply world. it acts as a disinfectant and has antibiotic, antibacterial, anti-fungal, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties that allow it to be a natural germ fighter. i like the addition of lavender and lemon for scent and both oils posses antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits.

this spray works on all surfaces: bathroom, kitchen and tabletops. enjoy its natural cleansing power plus great smell when you clean your house!

  1. Ooh, love this, girl! I’m using a similar recipe and it works wonders! I love how the tea tree oil does such a great job of masking the yucky vinegar smell. Love you! xoxo

let me know what you think!
